What to do about casual Fridays!?

Ah the new age of business and casual Fridays, a day to loose the tie and be comfortable. Of course people in the know still look professional, yet comfortable. The trick to decoding the business casual is to understand the foundations of the look.

Workday Casual: The quintessential Business Casual. Separate yourself from the blue jeans and t-shirt crowd, the foundation of this look is the sport coat. A dark coat, navy or black, with or without a pattern. The pants and shirt can be changed around to dress up or down the look.

Evening Social: The pants will be the focus, not overly dressy, with a moderate casual shoe, and a golf shirt or mock turtle neck.

Active Weekend: Golf with the boss? The focus is on the pants/shorts and the belt. Cotton shorts are fine but dress it up with a silver tip belt. Add a nice golf shirt and you are good to go!
